Content strategy and copywriting

Pages that say something only you could say. That is also what makes them rank.

Mass-produced content no longer ranks, and it exposes you: a thousand “trade + town” pages built on the same template is the textbook definition of a doorway page, and the penalty lands on the whole site — not on the offending page. Our rule is the opposite: a page exists only if it carries a fact the others do not have. On a tree surgery site, we only opened a page for one town after finding the 2017 municipal order requiring a visit from a council officer before any felling on private property. That is verifiable, useful to the reader, and nowhere to be found on competitors' sites.

The method

How we work

  1. 01

We look for what you know and others do not

An interview, your past quotes, your replies to customers. The material is almost always already there — it is simply written down nowhere.

  2. 02

We decide which pages deserve to exist

One page per search intent, with a written admission rule. Two pages aiming at the same thing steal each other's ranking.

  3. 03

    We write, citing sources

Regulations, figures, local constraints: anything asserted is sourced. Unverifiable content is the first thing a serious client will hold against you.

  4. 04

We link it up and keep the rhythm

Every new page is linked to the older ones, both ways. Then a steady cadence, at a pace you can hold — one article a month beats ten and then nothing.

What you get

Deliverables

  • check_circleThe plan of pages to create, each with its reason to exist and the query it targets
  • check_circleThe copy written, titles and meta descriptions included, ready to publish
  • check_circleThe internal linking put in place, not merely recommended
  • check_circleThe source behind every claim, so you can defend it

Frequently asked questions

Do you write with AI?
We use it as a tool, never as a source. Text published under your name commits you: every fact is checked, every figure is sourced. Mass-produced content is recognisable, does not rank, and convinces nobody.
How many pages do we need?
Fewer than you are usually sold. We prefer five pages that each carry a fact to fifty interchangeable ones — the latter bring no traffic and damage the rest of the site.
Can you write about a technical trade you do not know?
Yes, provided we have access to someone who does, and that it gets reviewed. We work for healthcare facilities and for tradespeople: in both cases the substance comes from them and the shaping comes from us.
